Concepción Chile Temple
ilerstone
Located in the Biobío or VIII Region of Chile, the temple sits along the banks of the Biobío River, which descends from the Andes Mountains westward into the Pacific Ocean. The temple is capped with a dome, as are most Chilean religious buildings during this period. Historically appropriate slate tile roofing is used on both the housing and the temple.
For Interior was used Beige Saint Michel, a yellowish limestone quarried in Spain. Floors, cladding and other parts for a total of more than 1,000 square meters.
Of special importance is the baptismal font, with a coping doble shaped, octagonal the exterior and circular the interior. It was an interesting work to realize executive drawings and then to produce them. But finally, the outcomes was gratifying.
